Student Mentoring

Over the years, I’ve heard many of our students say that they have taken other yoga classes that give information, but they don't really know how it all fits together. I’m here to help you connect the dots and figure out how these ancient methods can apply to your life each and every day.

Imagine starting your day with a practice that can meet you where you are and support your daily wellness goals.

This practice is calibrated just for you.

My intention is to be your guide as we create an appropriate practice that gets more interesting the deeper you dive. The 8 limbs of Ashtanga Yoga support a meaningful and content lifestyle.

The traditional 3 pillars of Ashtanga yoga create our foundation:
* Pranayama (breathing)
* Pratyahara (focused awareness)
* Asana (postures)

Together we will adapt and change your practice as you gain flexibility and strength in both body and mind - ideally without pain or injury!!! You will gain insight into where you hold stress then learn how to release it so that you can move forward in your life with clarity and confidence.

Our first step is to set up a Zoom call to chat and see if we are a good match. CLICK HERE and we will set up a time!

Mentoring can:
- Jump start a stalled practice
- Inspire you to practice more consistently
- Help you to figure out how yoga fits into your life
- Allow time for you to work through and explore necessary modifications

Sessions are offered either in person or Zoom.

Teacher Mentoring

If you are an instructor, Teacher Mentoring will allow you to work on your teaching skills outside of the classroom. First I will evaluate your teaching skills, then we will work on techniques to improve communication with your students, set class intentions and learn compassionate and appropriate hands-on assists with your students.
